How to become a public adjuster in Louisiana

The pathway
Getting licensed in Louisiana
The license is the Public Adjuster. It is its own license, so make sure any course or exam you book is the public adjuster one and not the company or independent adjuster version. Issued by the Louisiana Department of Insurance (LDI) under La. R.S. 22:1691–1708; separate from the Claims Adjuster license (R.S. 22:1661 et seq.). A licensed claims adjuster may not act as a public adjuster.
