The pathway
Getting licensed in Missouri
The Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance issues the Public Adjuster license. It is its own license, so make sure any course or exam you book is the public adjuster one and not the company or independent adjuster version. Missouri does not license company or independent adjusters at all; RSMo ch. 325 licenses only public adjusters (fire and allied lines) and public adjuster solicitors. Licenses may not be late-renewed (RSMo 325.025.1): a lapsed licensee must retake the exam and reapply.
