No public adjuster license exists here. South Dakota does not license or recognize public adjusters. That is not a green light: representing an insured in a claim for a fee may be treated as the practice of law, and consumer-protection rules still apply.
Confirm the current position with the South Dakota Division of Insurance before offering services. Some adjusters licence in a neighbouring state that does regulate the work; whether that helps depends on facts this page cannot speak to.

Confirm on the Division of Insurance's Licensing Exemptions page that South Dakota does not license property/casualty adjusters, including public adjusters.

Understand that with no licensing statute there is also no state bond, contract-form, or fee regulation; general contract and unfair-practice law still applies.

If you need a resident license for reciprocity in other states, you will have to designate a different home state that licenses public adjusters.
