How to become a public adjuster in Wyoming
Wyoming requires a public adjuster license. There is no statutory fee cap; the governing law is W.S. § 26-9-202; Wyoming DOI public adjuster license.
The pathway
Getting licensed in Wyoming
The Wyoming Department of Insurance issues the Public Adjuster license. It is its own license, so make sure any course or exam you book is the public adjuster one and not the company or independent adjuster version. The Department issues a separate public adjuster license, but the qualifying exam is the Property and Casualty Consultant exam (code 47), not the Property and Casualty Adjuster exam (code 17). W.S. Title 26 defines 'public adjuster' (26-9-202) but has no dedicated licensing section; the Department's page is the operative guidance.
