The pathway
Getting licensed in Nebraska
The Nebraska Department of Insurance issues the Public Adjuster license. It is its own license, so make sure any course or exam you book is the public adjuster one and not the company or independent adjuster version. Standalone license under the Public Adjusters Licensing Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. 44-9201 to 44-9219), issued since July 19, 2018; the Insurance Consultant license no longer covers public adjusting. Business entities need a separate public adjuster agency license.
